that home collection went 75% off friday.. did you miss out?

 

I almost picked up a TV stand from target a couple weeks ago, but decided having 3 different types of wood furniture in the same room would look funny

 

Hmm, I should go to target tomorrow.

 

I haven't been back in a while. Time to see if they still have my lamp so I can save a little more.

 

So I called them tonight to see if they had any more lamps in stock so I could bring mine back and buy another one at 75% off. The chick on the phone that worked in housewares said that they didn't have anymore but I could bring mine back and then wait for them to restock it onto the sales floor. Once they did that, I could just re-buy it and get the 75% off. She said it wouldn't take too long for the whole process and that I could just shop around the store until they were done putting it back out.

Well, I end up going to the store and when I'm at customer service returning the lamp I tell them what I'm trying to accomplish. The girl at the desk tells me she's not supposed to just credit my card for the difference but she does it anyway. Another girl working up there that has obviously heard what's going on walks by and just says "I didn't see anything." So I got $40 back and was in and out in under 5 minutes.
