Like I said before, I don't have fear. If someone comes and takes my food I'll give them my clothes as well. Not out of fear, but shame and sadness for them.
I wasn't saying the world is going to end either, I'm not talking apocalypse. Just borderline desperation, high prices and scarcity. If it came to me needing a gun, my stepfather has quite a collection

if your response to someone coming and demanding your supplies is ok here and while your at it take my clothes ... then no ... no you wont last long at all.
pity has no place in a world of fear and basic survival. i dont pity the animal i slaughter for its meat and pelt. i want and need it to survive
you become that animal by merely rolling over and saying ok take what you want.

pity has no place in a world of fear and basic survival. i dont pity the animal i slaughter for its meat and pelt. i want and need it to survive

You point a gun at someone and you see fear, it gives you the power to do things you wouldn't normally, when a man shows no fear or aggression you have no power, it is pointless to pull the trigger because they aren't fighting....so what is left after the confrontation...the fearless mans life. Now if the person holding the weapon is an absolute lunatic then you die, but again I fear no thing, death is a part of life and when my time comes, be it natural, man made, divine plan I will accept it...That does not mean I am going to lay down and die, but to kill yourself over any one thing is to go against life, it's insane.

Why would they roll out the barbed wire on a small scale event? that wouldn't encourage people to go to these communities in a mass event. I know you mean well but I think you may be a little naive. Nothing is free in this world, remember that? We pay for what we get in blood, sweat, and death.
There are prisons being built around the country, some finished and not being used due to a lack of funding(although they have unmarked buses going in and out of these finished prisons regularly).
I'm not a conspiracy theorist, I'm just a watcher watching, I know it sounds crazy, but so did the Holocaust, and Nanking, darfur, rwanda, USSR...Mankind has a history of violence, and a short lived memoryh:
