http://online.wsj.com/article/SB123119236117055127.html

the article explains a bit more why these jobs were picked, since they seem a little strange at first, not the same things i would judge on but its still interesting

my gf will have a phd in mathematics (probability), a masters in mathematics, a masters in statistics, and is taking the first actuarial exam this spring

i guess i chose well

on the other hand, i have a bs in math, and a bs in philosophy, and i cant find a job for shit, so take this list for what its worth

i know a few of you are in the top 10, but a few more are in the bottom...
and wtf, #14 parole officer

I disagree with a lot of the choices at the bottom of the list.
I would rather be out in the woods cutting trees and getting exercise as an EMT or Firefighter than sitting at some cubicle crunching numbers.

http://www.careercast.com/jobs/conte...ed_Methodology
info on how they rated them

based on these 5 criterea
Environment, Income, Outlook, Stress and Physical Demands.

i see what they are trying to get you to think about, but yeah, its alot of self serving bs for the most part
