Default Plane ticket tips

It seems like some of you guys travel alot. Do you guys have any good advice or websites for finding cheaper tickets? Obviously there's Expedia and Travelocity, but Ive heard they dont always have the best of deals.

kayak.com or call the airlines. a lot of time when you get em on the phone you can negotiate different deals. its funny how you can do the search on the website and have nothing available but when you call, they have cheap seats left. just determine what airlines fly out of your local airport & into your destination and call them one by one.

I check travel agent wesites like you have mentioned to see what flights are available that day for the route I plan to use. If not reasonable, I goto individual flight website to get then, because atleast 50% of the time they are cheaper than agent wesbites

i usually go straight to the airlines site. it's usually cheaper than expedia or those other sites.
