well most likely because he supports Israel ... but who cares what a mayor thinks, especially when you have the UN in the same city ... and most likely a Israeli embassy of some sort as well

Protesting at teh embassy is useless and could create a climat were violence would easily break out.

At the UN would be a good option but the UN has tried many time to sanction Israel.

I think City hall is just cause it represents the american gouvernmnet :dunno:

Both sides are perpetuating an endless cycle of violence. A chicken and the egg scenario where neither is correct and neither is wrong but instead of talking things out they resort to escalating violence.

Context much. It's not dumb, it's exactly what millions of people wanth: I know the temple of rock is the third holiest mosque to the muslims, but the temple mount is Thee holiest to the Jews.

I didn't say they should just maybe they would. I wouldn't be surprised, everything is ready for the Jews to rebuild the temple for the 3rd time. The high priest crown is complete, building materials are secured, they are just waiting for the holy site, which just happens to be where the dome of rock sits. Are you seeing the puzzle a little clearer yet?

They are fighting a holy war over a parcel of land. Israel waited a long time to come home, and now that they are they want to be restored to their full glory.

What I find ironic is ANSWER (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism). It's a pro-palestinian cause. End Racism. Check out what the palestinian protesters that this group organized are saying...

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,477450,00.html

Why listen to any group of people (in American streets) that want Israel and America to be eradicated... Better yet, why are they even HERE? Each time something like this is aired by the Palestinians, I believe it's one more justifiable reason to start carpet-bombing Gaza. See. If there's nobody left to hate, there will be no more hate... and a hell of a lot less whining about "legitimate settlements" or "occupation". Of course it's Hamas causing civilian casualties, but it's the Gaza citizens elected them into political office in a democratic election, thus legitimizing their organization and overall making them look like a bunch of dumbasses. Gaza is a terrorist state. Isn't there a war on terrorism? How am I supposed to have sympathy for them when their actions make them their own worst enemy?
