I like the new setup. It allows to jump pages and are who posted last a lot easier.

I don't know anything about their policy....sorry, might as well check though, it could've possibly changed. I doubt it though.

the stores here always require you to sign up for a data-plan if you want a smart phone :dunno:

You're not obligated to get the plan dude. if you do take it you can cancel anytime. The only exeption is the iphone.

not from att, you are required to have the data plan for x amount of time, usually at least 6 months
t-mobile has 6 month policy as well
if you use a unlocked phone you can get out of it most of the time, but sometimes if they carry the same phone they will force that shit on you anyway
gf is due for upgrade, still waiting for something worth upgrading to
