How much was the processor? I'm in need of a new HU pretty badly... and i'm getting pretty lazy, don't feel like tuning any more.

Retail is 170, it can easily be had for 150...and the mic is 30...............from what you say this will be perfect for you

Chris don't take this the wrong way but you do know the sound in a convertible is always going to suck ass regardless of how you tune it...right?
Sitting still it will be decent but at a roll and especially with the top down it will be mediocre at very best.

The processor stays in the car, the $30 isn't. The audio settings without this processor are minimal.

but why not get it as good as you can for a convertible?

For this auto-tune, none of the settings can be modified at all. However it presents you with three curves you can choose from after the testing: Linear, Reference, Reference w/midrange comp. You can save two and recall either of them off the HU. Unfortunately if you want to tune it yourself, you have to go thru the menu on the HU not the laptop
