Ok...here is my breakdown...should I change my filing?
Federal exemptions: 0
State exemptions: 0
Federal --> 14.7%
Social Security --> 6%
CA State --> 3.6%
Medicare --> 1.4%
CA SUI/SDI --> 0.7%
403(b) --> 4%
I also take out parking pre-tax and soon a FSA pre-tax. I do 1-2 1099 jobs a year that I have to pay taxes on, so I do allow a chuck taken out to protect me from that...any ideas?

i probably wouldn't change much. it sounds like your 1099 jobs pretty much offset whatever tax you pay
