Well when I was working and actually earning money, I would spend freely what I had left over after all the bills were paid. If anyone asked I told them that I charged $54.00 an hour for labor, double that for skill and if they wanted me to use my talents they would have to give me a down payment to just start the bid.

 

17K includes all taxes, (Fed/State/CA SUI/Medicare), retirement, and parking.

$17k in taxes isn't that crazy......what's the standard? 20% approx? $85k = 17k in taxes at that rate. My taxes work out a bit better b/c of 2 kids + stay at home mom who's a student :hs:

I usually dont share that info. I had a co-worker ask me once. Yeah.. he was a 20 year old file clerk. Obviously didn't know any better.
