Haven't had any issues with the TL, got it CPO the main thing people complain about is the rattle because there are tons of rattling going on, but I have never heard them or it has never bothered me because I have the music on.

i cant speak for the TL, but i have an '04 TSX 6pd/navi. GREAT daily driver and it's the perfect size car for me. the 2.4L is peppy enough have some fun, and the suspension is nice and taut.

on earlier models, the entire AC unit tended to go kaput, so make sure it's been replaced. swing an '06+ if you can, there are a lot of little upgrades like bluetooth, aux input, updated navi with zagat ratings, power passenger seat, and exterior updates (front bumper, wheels, taillights).

I loved the 04 TL the i had, 6 speed mt, and the mts also got brembo brakes up front so it stopped pretty well. The most annoying thing was torque steer because so much power having to be put through the front wheels. The stereo is amazing, and I had the navi that was very nice. The auto temp and blue tooth were nice features as well. If the oppertunity presented its self id own another TL in a second
