there are plasmas made in 37 but stick with a lcd

I was trying to keep it in the $700-800 range. I know CC here is closing, so I was gonna swing by and see what they had. I know the Vizio 37" 1080p is $750 at costco.

I have a 50" SXRD in the living room...also too big for my room. h:

I went by my CC to see what deals they had...not very many really good deals. Best one was a 37" LG 720p LCD for $759...but a Vizio 1080p LCD is $749 at costco. :hs: Still debating on if 1080p vs 720p is worth it on that small of a TV...people say the difference is negligible.

I think I like the picture on plasmas better...might have to go 42" h:

 

The 1080p vs 720p at 37" is moot. Unless they are side by side you will never know the difference and even then it's hard to tell.

When I was about to buy the 52" Samsung LCD I actually got turned to the 50" plasmas instead...ended up not buying it but whatever...they motion seems more real, 480Hz refresh, and same life as LCD

 

The picture seemed more vibrant on the plasma, and the motion was smoother. But I haven't seen many 37" plasmas around.
