The 1080p vs 720p at 37" is moot. Unless they are side by side you will never know the difference and even then it's hard to tell.

When I was about to buy the 52" Samsung LCD I actually got turned to the 50" plasmas instead...ended up not buying it but whatever...they motion seems more real, 480Hz refresh, and same life as LCD
