i leave my computer and xbox (original) on all the time. everything else gets turned off.

energy aside,i dont understand why people would leave them on.. thats shortenning the life isnt it?

i'm sure it depends on the transformer, but it has been proven true. a lot of things use electricity even when not in use, especially transformers, apparently. haven't you ever noticed that some of them are warm even when nothing is plugged into them?

depends. if you're flipping it on and off constantly, that's going to do a lot more harm than leaving it on all the time.

since my shit is rarely on every night, i just shut everything off when i'm done.
