Do you guys know if there are any planned Black friday deals for this TV? (or any samsung close to it for that matter?)

46" 500 series there are deals.

slickdeals.net and the thread a few down marked (Official Black Friday Thread) has the ads in there.

i didn't go with the 650 because i was concerned that glare would be a big issue. i'm also not that fond of the red border.

i have the 550 and it's fantastic. i don't miss the 120hz but then again, i'd have to see them side by side to see what i'm missing anyway. i have heard it's more of a "looks good on paper" feature. :dunno:

I actually want the red border.

I guess the 120 comes in handy when watching sports and other fast paced video.

52a650 is what im picking up next year
the 750 is paying more for extra bells and whistles you wont use imo. some people do but i wont ever.
the 850 is thinner but only really not that great

120hz is dope imo...considering i work and see all these tv's everyday i actually think that the 120hz is something you need if you watch blu-ray or hd
the touch of color red is nice. i like blue better, but everyday the red is better imo

I'm pissed the a550 - a750 doesn't come in 55 inch.

to get your money worth, please have your tv professionally calibrated for best performance

i was impressed with the 6 series on bluray, standard def. will look soft. My preference is plasma though.
