Default Vista Help?

GF's little sister just got a Vista equipped laptop, was wondering what I should disable/enable/mod in the OS to make it run in tip top shape? I've never used vista so I have no idea how anything works on that OS.

It's never bothered me, oh and disable UAC unless you'd think she'd mess up the computer

I'm sick of seeing that bullshit response. :gtfo: Typical Republican response..."I'm afraid of CHANGE" :wtc:...

I just do the usual, msconfig and disable all the bs stuff, and uninstall any extraneous material.

I have Vista on 2 machines and have VERY little problems. Yes XP may run smoother and whatnot, but Vista works well enough for 95% of the public.

I'm with Brian. I have Vista on my Vaio and it runs flawlessly. All that shit about it having a bunch of problems is bs.

:chuckles: @ Mojave

It's the New Windows. It's like making your own fuel for your car out of used fryer oil. http://www.dinofuelalternatives.com/
