lol cinemax
were you watching Max-E because that would fully explain the time
and I've seen the boobies thing and found it lol worthy
Huh?
Encore/Starz>* for movies
HBO and Max are owned by the same company and serve different purposes- in the same way that Honda owns Acura
The same goes for Showtime and TMC
It's pretty much Starz/Encore=TMC=Cinemax
and
HBO=Showtime=(Starz)
Time will tell if Starz will pick up more original programming... they tried original movies back in 99 but that didn't seem to do much even when some of them were fairly good [October Sky was one IIRC] and they are currently trying with Crash the series but I'm not sure if it's going to be up to snuff

Never seen what you're referring to but it's been a while since the last Cinemax free preview :cheap: Sounds funny, and you do mean 8:30 pm right?:ugh
since you said following cartoons). - edit: of course you do, that's a stupid question. Even pm, that seems earlier than I remember in the past

I'm not entirely sure what Sherwood's post said (maybe b/c sleep deprived) but I couldn't care less about original programming on pay movie channels. On the rare free preview occasion or when I just happen to check what is on, despite not being able to watch it, seems Starts consistently sucks, Showtime is OK, and HBO and Cinemax usually have something watchable at the very least.

HBO is pretty much all original programming... it includes specials and documentaries
Starz and Encore far from suck.... the on demand catalog is by far the largest of any of the networks as they focus primarily on movies.
A similar thing happened to me when I was like 12. I was over at my grandparents' house and they had a cable unscrambler box. We were watching a pay per view movie (for free) and then as soon as it was over it switched to Adam & Eve programming. I was like wtf? Talk about an awkward situation. :eek4:
