I always say that I'd rather be tried by 12 than carried by 6. If you kill someone though, whether it is in self-defense or cold-blood, you need to be prepared to face the consequences. Even if a jury finds you not guilty, you still have to worry about someone from that person's friends or family committing an act of vengeance.

You were avoiding a question regarding a probable circumstance...
Answering a question regarding what you would do in such a situation with, "I wouldn't be in that situation," is a stupid answer to a legitimate question regarding a possible event. With your reply you put it in a way where you can control every circumstance around you which if you honestly believe that, you're an idiot.
