I want something nice. Nothing too recreational and I don't want racing skis either. Maybe 50/50 on/off-piste. I'm currently rocking some 70/30 on/off-piste Salomon skis from '02.

lunds is still open i think. they've been going like in and out of business and between two locations for a couple years now, it's really confusing. their prices and service sucks anyways.

dewitt sports is still open, kind of.. i think they are mostly kayaks now though.

the ski company is open and thriving in the new-ish plaza behind kmart and delta sonic. that's the only place i go. great people, great prices, great deals.

anyways, i've got the skis and poles in the car, boots and clothing inside warming up for an early trip to the mountain tomorrow morning. hopefully we'll get some sort of real snow tonight :x:

I need to check out prices there for new skis and bindings. Anything good? I may go into Syracuse Sat. night.

I really gotta get in there now. How did you get that lifetime wax card? I need to find some time to ski this season.

i bought my skis there :dunno:

i don't know if it was just like a one time thing where they were giving them out or if they always do.

and it's only for wax, i really need to get mine sharpened, i'll do it next week when i get back to fayetteville.

i lost my edge a couple times yesterday on the fake snow / ice.

edit: i always thought i preferred not having such a sharp edge, but the past couple season i've been all about carving and getting the sharpest, cleanest turns i can get.
