Yea. And yes it is! I love the flex of Never Summer boards. It flows over moguls like "buttah". I just get skurred thinking I'll catch and edge at 50mph and it will be game over.

I've been building my confidence up for this season though so hopefully that will all change.

We have I think 8 mountains open already, but I haven't been yet. It's been a really dry autumn

I may go up this weekend, but until the backcountry has enough snow, I'll probably be doing half-days. I can't stand crowded groomers.

My only new gear this season is my jacket. Oakley Inclination, got it for $90 shipped on S&C
