i was confused for a sec

i havent tried my new dc boots in the snow yet, but just from what it feels like when i wore them at the store and home, theyre pretty light and snug. not as "cushiony" as some of the burtons ive tried though. the padding inside is soft, just doesnt feel as "cushiony"h:

supposedly theres a big freestyle park comp the first weekend im going home for christmas ... my buddies entered and said they put me down for it. i havent rode park consistently in a couple years. i told em to fuck off i aint breaking my wrist again just for some free gear. last time i did that i wrecked on a 50ft rainbow rail and broke my wrist in 2 spots

Those new crank the laces knobs are dope, but you need separate tension for upper (ankle) and lower (foot) laces, or at least I do. h: I'd also like to wait a couple years to see how they hold up to abuse before buying a new product like that. But numb frozen fingers ftl, it's a great concept.

finally went boarding yesterday!!!! woohoo!!!!!
fucking got to snow summit at 12noon and all the lift tix were sold out. :squint: wtf
called bear mountain, same thing. :squint:
drove to mt.high. my friend and i got there at 2:40pm and just boarded for half-day :hs:
but it was good enough! no way i was gonna drive back home without going on one run
ugh... woke up at 7:30am tho cuz i didnt hear the alarm i called my friend and she slept thru her alarm too :doh:
but we made it! finally got to use my new boots n bindings
cant wait til 2 more weeks and ill be boarding for a week! :yay:

I landed the first 360 i tried this season! It was backside and just off a small jump but i didn't think i was going to pull off the first one i tried. So i didn't even try anymore that night and just got back into practicing some boardslides on small rails and boxes. I need to learn how to spin on a box.
