What do you guys use for carry ammo?
that's not a bad price, i think.

they have a 6 box per customer limit around here to stop people from going in and buying it all.

my defensive ammo is winchester ranger.

i picked up my G17 frame from a guy who I gave it to for him to do some stipple and grip work.

Came out exactly how I wanted. The only work I'll really have to do is some filing under the trigger guard because the stippling comes down just a tad too low on my middle finger.

i'm going to be dropping the slide off to my friend to get plated like my 34.

anyway...

looks like the sprayed rhino liner on your frame. I hope it feels good, did you want the whole fame to come out like that? I'm surprised you didn't just do the grip instead.

The side of th frame is where my thumbs go so yes.

idve preferred to not have the trigger guard done (except the bottom) but no harm, no foul.

That's why I had my $300 g17 done and not the new one.

Free Year NRA membership.

Found on the florida gun owners forum.

Thought i would share.

Also
You can also take the free one-year and then do the 300$ lifetime upgrade special. Lifetime memberships usually cost 1000$ and the free one-year deal offered a 500$ lifetime.

Here's how you do it:
Call NRA @ 800-672-3888
Give Promo Code W9AVCRDE
Pay $300
And Enjoy! =)
Not sure if the $300 thing still works, but i know the Free year does, i just did it.

been doin some serious research on my short charge issue and finally came up with a couple solutions

i could either
1.swap out my entire A2 stock for a carbine setup that has a buffer about 2 ounces lighter ($75)
2. order a reduced power spring from wolff ($15)
3. get a poly bushing from RRA and then just use a carbine buffer and spring in my rifle length tube ($25)

decided to just order a new complete collapsible stock from RRA and see if that fixes my problem, i'm thinking with the lighter spring and buffer i shouldn't have the cycling issues i've been having. sell my rifle stock for 30 or 40 bucks and call it good

anyone need a complete rifle stock with spring and buffer?
