Anyone ever have a kitteh with a urinary track issue? I'm taking Mikey to the vet tomorrow because he's been howling when he goes to the bathroom and occasionaly pees right outside the box. :wtc:

Really hope it's nothing serious.

If anyone had an experience with this.. what treatement did the vet offer?

I mop it up right after. But.. it doesn't look weird.. no blood.. normal amount. But he sounds sooo sad.

do you know if he's having difficulty peeing, or is it just that it's painful for him?

if he's having difficulty, hopefully it's not a tumor. :hs: how old is he?

one of our cats has pee'd outside of the box before, but i think that was just because she's a fattie and would forget she was half hanging out of the box. h:

 

It seems it's the normal amount. So.. Not sure if it's a difficulty or if it's just painful.

He's 13. So.. he is at the age for these kinds of issues. :hs:

 

I don't know bout cats, but do cats have prostate issues like old men
