Yeah from that site it looks like $340 for the front rotors, $340 for the rear rotors, then maybe $300 for the pads. Total is $980. The other site listed the break pads as being $600. Maybe the OEM ones are more expensive. That would change the price to $1280.

They are also charging me for the Struts which is another $1200 and to do the whole 60k mile thing which is to replace all fluids and blah blah blah...they said that was another $500.

I am sure they charge more for profit plus labor costs and such....so that's how it reaches $4k

labor rate will be 70 -100 an hour, this is also charged by the book, not actual hours usually unless you getting a deal.

profit markup if its a smart shop will be anywhere from 35 - 50 percent over what they paid. sometimes even more

most likely they paid 20 - 30 percent less than you would
