i just "over hauled" the brakes on the 330i. dealer quote for new f/r rotors, pads and brake flush was 3500.

I did the whole thing myself in about 3.5hrs and it only cost me $380 in parts including shipping. given that i already had the tools to do it, but you only need to buy them once. i've done this about 9 times now so my initial cost of $400 (had to get a new jack) spread over 9 times = jack shit.

Apparently the break pads alone are $600.

I did a quick search and to upgrade STi break package for a regular WRX is like $6k :dunno:

Are you wanting to only use OEM parts? Because Hawk pads and Brembo rotors are way cheaper.
