I tried that before. I found that the only way it'll work is if you actually scanned in your handwriting, not drawn on a tablet.

my reccomendation.. keep it basic... like the site you did for your friend and dad.

basic, yet sophisticated...

note on your friends page.... it looks good, but geometry is not pleasing to the eye .. cant exactly pinpoint whats wrong.. maybe the frill at the top creates a border.. the image previews need a tweak... something.. :hs:

 

how about changing the bg to a grey... and using a white font that clicks orange.. kind of like the image i attached..

ill be getting to work on it tommorow so i wanna gather all the points i should look at today
