takes forever to load
the lines are annoying and basic
the font is basic
the main page is flash. then it takes you to html pages. then when you go back, you aren't at the previous page, you're at the main flash part.
thesis.mov doesn't load.
just a mailto: for contact is whack.

hehe... k...
so what im getting as not to have the site as flash... but i could embedd a flash central part in an html...
the font choice isnt the best...
takes too long to load..
i made this one for my friend in just html..

i'd say that if you are going to use flash, use it for a top banner or something small that needs to be animated. main content should be text.
that second page you posted is much better than the one you created for yourself, but i mean just an outer glow with the title, two different fonts for the gallery and resume/contact and the black "curls/design" being pretty soft, hurts the page. it's not a bad layout and idea though.

completely updated it...
how bout this style>?
everythings working but 3d gallery... im workin on a big flash file for that
one big problem... is the thing doesnt realy even friggen work in opera
but works fine in IE
