Default Hello Seattle :nervous:

Just got here, kickin' it at my cousins (whom was not here to greet me ) and enjoying a glass of Merlot. Damn that was a long drive. On the bright side I stopped to visit family along the way, and I reached my old record of 37mpg (which happened on the old motor), and this time it was with my car completely packed with my stuff and a lot of uphill driving. I bet I would've broke the 40mpg barrier if the car was empty.

Anyways, I drove around for about an hour and realize this place is going to take a while to get used to. Thank the Gods for the GPS I picked up or I'd be so (you know what).

So anyone got any recommendations for stuff to do around here? I plan to go to the Aquarium and the Space Needle, but not sure of any other significant points of interest. I'm thinking I might just ask some hot girls to show me around. :hsugh:

Cliffnotes: My rebuilt engine didn't crap on me, and I made it in one piece h:

Good to hear you made it there in one piece.

Pardon my senility, but what prompted the move?
I know you mentioned it, but I can't remember what it was... h:

I moved up here because the commercial diving school I'm going to is up here. The school is just about 8 months. After that, who knows where I'll be going.

Pike's is the fish market, right Marshy? The school is in south Ballard so I'll be spending a lot of time in the immediate area. I'm sure I'll be checking out a lot of food places; I like spicy stuff.

Not driving, DIVING.

I'm no IT, but I can work on my own stuff mostly.

I think when we met at Cobbs (that show had us all rolling  AS FTW) I was working with a startup company doing something new with internet video. I was in sales, working with a product/service that practically sells itself, but with the downturn economy small businesses weren't willing to spend $ in new areas. Basically it was an experience to tell me I don't belong in sales. Someone told me once "If you don't wake up with a 'hard on' for sales, you shouldn't be doing it."

My bad. I read that a few times too and read it as driving everytime

Thats cool dude. I know you're into diving so if you can make a career out of it thats awesome. I wish you all the best bro. Enjoy Seattle...It's always appealed to me as a cool place to live but I wouldnt be able to tolerate the rain.

Oh yea and Cobbs ruled. Aries Spears was so hilarious. I've been thinking of making another trip over there :rick:
