Those tasks are a large part of the offshore dive work, which is where I plan to go. There is also salvage, plug & abandon for old wells, pipeline work and regular maintenance repair type stuff. Maybe years down the road I'll have a chance to hookup with a treasure hunting outfit :hsugh:
There is also inland work ranging from potable water to nuclear/hazmat diving. If I lose the appeal for offshore work I can always go inland. I expect there will be work in the coming years that doesn't exist yet, possibly involving renewable/alternative energy.
