I am a professional, so I am not going to give you a list of "must haves" but the 50mm f/1.8 is a great bang for the buck. And the 17-55 f/2.8 was my favorite lens on a 1.5x sensor.

the only thing really worht anything is the 70-200 lens and the filters i have for it ... i might just give them to my cuz since i talked to her last night and they will fit her new dslr she got
