I had a neighbor back in the day. Cool ass dude. He told me he was from "Charlie Company". That only means something to my non-military mind as something coming from him, and from the movies.
One thing he told me stood out. He told me that all the equipment they got to use was BRAND NEW. Night vision goggles, GPS was brand new at the time and they got to test it out. They were the first to use the best shit. He spoke with a great deal of pride about it. Pride, to me, is like cholesterol. Some is good and some is bad. I saw the right kind of pride in his eye.
I'd be more than happy to contribute to a fund to allow your squad to have the best that it can have.

the only reason i put no is because my brother just got killed 3.5 weeks ago because of this war. i also understand that you guys need your gear but what are our tax payer dollars being used for then?
