IR titanium 1/2 if you want to buy the last gun you will ever need. I also have the same gun in 3/8 and 3/4. Hands down best air guns on the market.

2135TiMAX 1/2" 780 ft/lbs
flows average consumption of 5 CFM. this is at 90psi.

Your compressor will be able to handle it for things like lugs/nut busting etc. You just won't be able to sit there and hold the trigger down without your compressor being at a serious duty cycle.

ic, so it should be good enough to remove 20 lug bolts without killing the compressor :chuckles:

yup.

what really eats up CFM is dye grinders, cut off wheels, spray guns, etc. Impact guns are generally a fairly low consumption item. I love my 3/8 IR Ti but I think it will be underkill if you ever have a tough bolt you wanna get off, it just doesn't have the torque. I have found very little that my 1/2 Ti can't handle. That's why I also have my 3/4 gun though (1600 max ft/lbs) h:

good enough. that was also my fear with the 3/8. sounds like 1/2 IR Ti is just what I'm looking for

you mite be able to find the 2008 IR Ti guns fairly well marked down with the new release of the TiMax. The 08 has 680 or 720 ft/lbs and will do the trick just as well.
