first car was manual. last two are automatic. i don't mind automatic, i don't mind just pressing the gas.

see, i think it's frustrating when some cumbersome, heavy, inefficient piece of technology shifts for me.

Not if you sit in LA traffic for 1.5hrs each way of your commute every day, then it becomes a godsend.

Manual has saved me on several occasions in the winter. Plus I get much better mileage with a manual. Oh, and you don't have to change ATF. Oh, and auto's eat horsepower. But other than that auto's are ok.

Seriously though, I've looked into auto a bit. It opens up a much larger variety of vehicles. Looking up TSX's on autotrader, there are like 30 in my area with auto. 4 with Manual. Same trend with TL's.
