I love how BMW interiors can actually comfortably fit tall people. I don't have to cope with poorly placed mirrors and extending the seats to their maximum range. Plus, there's that whole "torque" thing I've been hearing people talk about...

Have you set up your PS2 to do progressive video? How is your PS2 sending data to the TV? My PS2 DVD player does quite a decent job over component cables in progressive mode

Haha, the PS3 is somewhere between Baldwin Park CA and Oakland right now. Probably pretty close to Oakland as it started it's travels at 2AM this morning

and I already have an HDMI cable plugged into my TV and waiting. And by the time it arrives I'll have Planet Earth and Iron Man on Blu-Ray

I haven't hooked up my sound system yet, but I think for my room I would prefer to have one of the Yamaha digital sound projectors. There's nill space to effectively put in a decent surround sound that wouldn't have speakers dangling within cat-wrecking range of my bed.

What system are you sporting?

nothing yet.. i have my old dolby digital setup that is no longer hooked up to anything. i actually got rid of my big L/R towers in the move.

for the receiver i'm thinking about getting the Pioneer VSX-1018AH-K. speakers i'm less certain on. what i like is well more $$ than i want to spend.
