Kitteh
I heard, on a TV show, that cats tend to change personality-wise once declawed. It was a vet of some sort, said the ones that have been declawed are always meaner
Last time I had a cat was when I was quite young, and honestly don't remember if it had claws still.
Don't you have one of those posts, aren't those supposed to help with them clawing other crap? I dunno what I'm talking about really

h:Yeah he has a clawing thing that he uses sometimes. I'm going to keep working with him and see if he improves over the next few weeks.
Since you're not used to clawed cats, do you have scratching posts? You should have one for every main area the cat hangs out in (i.e. one in the living room, one in the bedroom). You can encourage the cat to use it by rubbing kitty crack into it or giving it treats whenever it uses the post. Then just be vigilant and squirt that fucker if it claws on anything else.

Heh. Squirting him does nothing. He looks at you like wtf and goes back to doing whatever he was. Only thing that works is grabbing him by the scruff and shaking him a little. It sounds bad, but its what their mothers do and it is the only thing that works even a little bit.
cat with claws in a great home > declawed cat in a great home > cat with claws on the street > declawed cat on the street.
