Yeah. It's been 7 years. Can't say that I still feel the same since then but you can't forget.

Seeing it live on TV is one thing, the aftermath is another. Trudging through that mess weeks after was just surreal. The smell in the air is something that I personally won't ever forget. It was a mixture of a burnt smell--with dust and debris, and you can't help but realize that it's also the smell of burning bodies. That smell lingered on for about a year.

I can imagine. I just remember living in SD and shit was on lockdown. We were pretty high on the list for getting attacked due to the heavy military presence there. That combined with the fact that two of the guys involved came from SD, and actually lived in my buddy's apartment building.

i am sure people in NJ, NY, CT, MA, PA are far more effected by it since its in their neighborhood, relatively speaking, then say someone in MI who is halfway across the country.

how many of you remember the exact spot you were when this happened?
i was at college in the cafeteria. class started and the teacher was bitching no one wanted to stay in her class. we all wanted to go watch the news.

So now it's turned into a pissing contest over who was affected more by it?

Please.
