It's true but isn't it a bit hypocritical to attack someone on inexperience due to age and then go around and pick an even younger VP? I just think that's a little funny.

not at all. VP != President. besides, did you see how Biden attacked Obama during his campaign? and hasn't Obama harped on change, not "more of the same"? or.. "politics as usual"? then he goes an picks one of the longest serving senators out there? how is that different?

i think this choice is fantastic. her lack of experience and all that mumbo jumbo is exactly that, mumbo jumbo. if it's not a negative for obama, why is it a negative for her? and as far as i can tell, she's done something concrete. i haven't heard anything concrete that obama has done for illinois (someone enlighten me, please).

besides, any other VP pick would be aggressively attacked as "more of the same", "old white guys", ad nauseam...

No VP != President but it does mean First in line to be President. I'm just saying the line of attacks towards someone's age as experience is somewhat funny when they turn around to do the same. If it wasn't a recent thing I wouldn't find it hypocritical, but they have pounded it one of the reasons why he isn't suitable to be President. I know a VP does not mean as much as people think it means, since many people vote based on the top of the ticket anyways but I was just stating how it is a bit funny how the situation has been playing out and how it is now.

I haven't done much research into Biden, so I can't say if it was right or wrong but we have 60 days or so left to see what'll happen. In the mean time, I'll inform myself.

So after all that blasting Obama because he's not experienced, McCain chooses a first term governor for VP.

I guess putting up an attractive woman is good for his campaign. Gonna make all the soccer moms giddy.

if that's the worst you people can come up with, then i'd say this is pretty solid.
