We picked one of these up about 2 months ago for my girlfriend. It's a great little camera, I'm kind of jealous. 3x optical zoom, image stabilization, face detection, etc. Takes pretty good pictures and is nicely sized. I wish she hadn't gotten the pink one though, because of course I end up holding/carrying it most of the time when we use it. h:
i played with my friend's wife's sony, one of those thin ones but i don't know what model. anyway, i liked it.
sony has the best point and shoot hands down. I have a dcp-92 5mp that is 5 years old and it takes better pictures than my gf's 7.2mp nikkon that is a year old. They have some of the best auto light metering, auto focusing, and color balance in a point and shoot i have ever seen.

you must not use a lot of point and shoot cameras if you think sony is the best you have ever seen. not saying they are trash but not the best, shit casio makes a better point and shoot then sony.
