I dunno how some of you guys get pulled over so often.
Honestly, neither do I. I have been doing so well for a while and I have been doing a good job at staying at a reasonable speed on my bike and driving civilized. It's just tonight, someone was injured at my step-dad's business and he was out of town so I was the emergency contact if anything happened so I was trying to get there asap to take a statement. I didn't know the nature of the injury or anything, I was just told to come quickly because I had to get a statement before the guy left. I just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
How do you handle getting pulled on a bike? I've never had that pleasure
The funny thing is, after I passed that car, I glanced in my rear views and I saw the headlights gaining, so I figured it was that car trying to get my plate. So I cranked the throttle and started flying and the headlights started getting smaller and smaller... And then the red lights started flashing on top of them. Apparently it was a cop that saw me pass the car and tried to catch up to me but I had nearly lost him in the turns.
He told me he cut me a break because I pulled over. I think he knew that I totally could have shaken him if I wanted to h: He said he had about 5 things that he could have written me a ticket for and that I could have lost my license if he felt like it. I knew he was right, I was going about 80 in a 40. Luckily he wasn't a dick cop. It could have been a lot worse.
