if i saw an ad, no question i would return it to the owner.

if i didnt see an ad, i would post one in the paper.

if nothing came of my ad and i never saw one for it, after a year or so i would probably trade it in at my jewelers for something nice for the wife... and a watch for me

I'd return it if possible but if it had been well over a year and i still had no idea who to return it too i'd sell it.

me & a friend were looking at diamond tennis bracelets one day in zales in tha mall. i dropped my phone & when i leaned down to get it, i saw a ring on the floor by the leg of the display. i picked it up & looked at the guy behind the counter & said "i bet this isn't suppose to be on the floor, huh?"

he immediately went & said they had been looking for it all day......it was valued at ~30k h:

the manager kept tyring to give me some kind of reward, but i just kept telling him "karma"....needless to say he remembered me everytime i went in that store

karma doesn't necessarily have to hit you in this lifetime... so if you keep referring to it keep that in mind h:
