like i said, i did the whole church thing and was EXTREMELY involved ... my views changed based on things i saw once i reached an age where i wasnt under the shadow of my parents home and support.

i have my reasons for not approving of religious organizations, they are my personal reasons. will i share them on here? no, but all the same it doesnt make me a mindless idiot.

needless to say one of my greatest issues with religion is that no matter the faith they all rely on fear as a major component in their teachings and their ability to control their members. maybe not a blatant fear, but a fear all the same. fear of many things

 

i should add that i do have a problem with a lot of these born again Christians. i mean, they'll say shit like, "donate X, and you get 10X in return because you BELIEVE!" yeah, right. bullshit. that's not how it works. those in the video above i drop under the same umbrella as this.

but again, i blame that on the people, not the Christian faith.

 

maybe i should be more clear by stating its organized religion and religious umbrellas i have issues with

im all for people having a belief, some people need to believe in a greater entity and if it helps them to be a better person than so be it. but i cannot stand organized religious groups.

if you have a belief you dont need a church or mosque to practice that belief
