We had those in minneapolis, but they got taken out. A case got taken to the MN supreme court, stating that there was no way to prove who was actually driving the car at the time.

good riddance.

Apparently, certain types of hair spray and license plate covers will reflect the flash, rendering the license plate unreadable.

The newer cameras take awesome pics of you...

license plate, front of vehicle, and face view, and online you can view the video h: so there is a way to prove you were driving the car or whoever..




I have a gorilla mask for such an occasion though

baltimore has had them for a while. Not a big deal. Just obey traffic laws and you won't have a problem. I lived in Baltimore for 5 years and never got a ticket from one.

AZ has had those for a while in fact because they are in a budget shortfall they are going to put up about 200 or so around the valley now. with some mobile units that you can at least pickup with a radar dector.

The cameras in AZ I'm told can defeat the plates and sprays. Its just like the radar and lazer companies always trying to stay ahead of the lazer radar dectors.
