:chuckles:
Strictly speaking, I'm an Oregonian. h:

Anyway... to answer the question, I came down to LA to wrap up the degree. With that in the bag, it's the weather and the abundance of work that keeps me here.

I may move around SoCal a bit — mostly to stay closer to work and spend less time commuting — but unless there's a major shift in the industry, I expect to stay here for a good long while.

When I'm ready to start looking, I will be considering way north Jersey (Vernon) Way north (Maine) West (eastern PA) or Way West. (AZ or NV)
or Over-seas in the long, long run.

I live in AZ because Mass was an expensive shit hole to live in and would drop a crap load of snow every winter. The Phoenix area is way cheaper, way more fun, and way sunnier. Sure it gets hot in the summer, but I'm used to the heat and prefer the trade off of really hot summers over snowy winters. I would love to be in San Diego where my cousins are, but its too expensive. Austin, TX is the only other place I'd consider. Since I've been in AZ for about 3 years I'm very happy and can't see myself leaving anytime soon.

Im a san diegan with a New York state of mind.

I feel were your're at jae

I grew up in the city and now live in the suburbs
It's a differnt type of living
not only is quite, but the people are usally educated and friendly.

Like you!
I have alot of famliy members that did alot of bad things to people
(some of them had it comming)
So i always have to look over my shoulder when go visit my famliy in the hood

So i live where i live for better schools for my kids and a better way of life.

I live in Philadelphia because I was nearly bankrupt when I graduated college and I could not afford to move to a new city. Moving home was an option, but I did not want to pay rent to live in a boring Maryland suburb. After graduation I moved into a sick apartment in a "gentrifying" neighborhood with one of my good friends, sold my car and learned how to live an urban lifestyle. As I paid down debt over the past three years my expenses have gone down while my salary has gone up. My neighborhood has grown its residential, commercial and retail tenants while my rent has remailed relatively cheap. Based on my current salary I can afford to save 20%-25% of my net income, while living a baller on a budget lifestyle. It would not make sense to leave now unless I was making a comparable salary in another city.

The woman and I are considering moving to Canada actually. Maybe in a few years. West coast though.

I moved out of Oakland, but lets just say that I am still living there since I am literally .5 miles away.

I was born and raised here.
I have family here.
My friends are here.
I feel like I have an obligation to make the community that raised me...better.
