I know for me, even if they produce a good car (like the new Malibu), I can't help but associate any GM product with all the houses-on-wheels that crowd the roads around here. I'd be almost as likely to buy a Kia/Hyundai as I would anything GM for that reason alone.

im thinking about selling the honda for a chevy pickup. need something with more hauling capability but cheap.

I like the Malibu, the saabs and the astra. And I agree the unions and the reputation are killing GM. They could bring the euro cars and not rebadge them. I am sure tones of people would rather get a Opel over a saturn.
