Local TV station tested the "hydrogen addon" (water to gas) thing i believe was posted here last week....check it out

Hmmm...trust the news or trust the manufacturer...tough call.
Remember...the manufacturer gave the news station the thing...And road conditions/speed are not identical. They should have gone to a nascar track and done the miles work there. That way you can have a control and an experiment.

If this is in any way legit, the company should release bench test figures for their electrolysis unit.
At cruising speed, a 4 liter V6 consumes hundreds of cubic meters of air per minute.
I strongly doubt that a small, underhood unit can match even a fraction of that demand.

Hell, the whole thing is dubious.
The laws of thermodynamics can't be broken.
Also, the reporter described the electrolysis "cracker" as a fuel cell.
She could not be more wrong.
A fuel cell creates electricity using pure hydrogen, atmospheric oxygen and a proton exchange membrane.
An electrolytic hydrogen generator uses electricity to break H2O down to its elemental hydrogen and oxygen.

You may have seen these products on the internet or on some of the morning news shows. They are "add-on" hydrogen fuel cells that use water and your car's electrical system to boost gas mileage and reduce greenhouse emissions.

I threw together an electrolysis setup a little bit ago to play with. You can definatly produce more than I would have guessed. But I doubt it's enough to make a major difference. From what I hear these guys are messing with their O2 sensors too. I don't know about you but it sounds like a big risk of running lean and melting pistons to me.
