I would say because Batman Begins was the first good Batman since the Keaton days.

funny, i watched the first keaton batman. and i couldnt stand it now compared to the one with heath as joker.

I love how when Heath was first announced to play the joker everyone on here said He could never be better then Nicholson. Now everyone is sweating himh:

did you guys notice a lot of the similarities between the old batman joker scenes and the new batman joker scenes? ..

specifically the part in the street when he was like "come on hit me"
