Do Not Want

One less thing I want to have to worry about on the road is stoners. We already have illegals driving that don't have insurance, why would I want illegals smoking pot and driving...

People are already doing this. But fyi most people who drive under the influence of cannabis can drive perfectly fine. It's not like alcohol.

Anyways, I really doubt this will pass.

Not the most pressing issue, but making it widely available to an already irresponsible population isn't going to make it any better. I understand people already doing this but legalizing it just makes it more prevalent, and if you didn't noticed we passed a hands-free law because drivers are already inattentive to the road, don't need one more thing hindering their inability to drive.

I hear that, but it's not the same as alcohol. People drive high in L.A. all day everyday. Can't stop that shit. Plus... People who get caught with it in the car aren't even getting written up. Police have been backing off on sweating people with small amounts of it on their person.

See my previous post, I never said it was the same as alcohol, people are already irresponsible drivers, why make it so more can be legally.

I'd support it. I'd rather drive with somebody who was high than somebody who was drunk.

Oh come on guys, don't be so up tight. Let's legalize pot. Along with prostitution (per the other thread). Hell, three's a crowd, lets drop the legal age limit for alcohol and tobacco too. Think of all the tax (and tourism!) for our struggling economy! What's with all this prohibition crap anyway? These are basic human rights arent they?
