while not my first choice, if i was somewhere and they served me dog most likely i would not refuse even if i knew.

primarily because in that culture is normal food and to refuse would be rude

secondly ... its already cooked, why let it go to waste

I went to visit my dad's family in vietnam and they prepared me a massive meal which included curry dog, fried rats and a bunch of other stuff. The dog was okay, but the rats were pretty good

I know this sounds heartless but honestly if the animal is injured like that why not just put the damn thing down?

They were rescued and the liklihood of them finding their owners is slim to none so just buy some .22 rounds and give the puppy a dome cruncher.
