anyway, ever try chilling the ramen prior to putting it in the wok? I'm curious to the outcome, I'm wondering if it'd allow the noodles to soak up a little more of the other flavor- but haven't ever had the patience to try

yeah they just became widely available in mass. you used to have to go to trader joes and whole foods to get them.
