I just made it to act 2 last night.

 

Act 2 is awesome Difficult if you take the wrong roads

 

I'm hoping to play more tonight. I realized yesterday that i've gotten used to the controls and it makes the game a lot more fun

 

lol once you have the controls and other elements dialed in... the game is that much more fun

 

So, I'm stuck at Laughing Octopus. Any tips on beating it?

I've done everything f/ using the different rifles to using the RPG (which seems to work best)

 

[spoiler="hahahahahahahaha ----- lllllaaaaaaaaauuuuuuuuuggggghhhhhhhhhh----no more laughing!!!!!!!"]Remember to utilize the solid eye, the nightvision/thermal mode is perfect for her when she uses her camo, when you hit her and she blows smoke, runaway (obvious when you here the bomb beeping noise) to find her again, follow the ink trail (you'll be able to see it better with the nightvision/thermal mode with the solid eye) if the trail leads nowhere, look up at the ceiling or more closely at the walls because sometimes her camo does cloak her heat signature. Shotgun works best with her, no need to aim directly, just the general direction. Towards the end of the fight, she'll start curling into a ball, I like to be near the beds when she does this so I can just run up to them instead of trying to use the action button near crates, if you get hit it takes a good amount of health away[/spoiler]

k, sounds like i'm on the right track. I get close to killing her, but i think i just need to work at it more. That's basically what i've been doing :hs:

 

The vring ammo is awesome on bosses if you don't want a lethal kill or at least bosses in their beauty form.

 

i haven't used vring yet...i'll look for it tonight.
