I took my other GPS back(Magellan) and got the Nuvi 200. Sooo much better. The Magellan was slow to recalculate route changes and the text to speech was worthless. It would say a street and you had to try to deciper what the fuck it just said, and by the time you realized what street it said, you had passed it.

I do need to update my Garmin to the newest maps. I tried before but the computer was fucked up.

I went ahead and picked up on the $99 nuvi 200 deal at Best Buy this morning. I tried to PM to Office Depot (they have it for $129, starting tomorrow :rickand use the coupon but for some reason their system wouldn't let them take off more than $50. So they PMed for $129 and then only took off $30 with the coupon. I was hoping to get it for $79 but oh well, still a pretty good deal IMO.

Ok, just tried to register the nuvi 200 and it gets anywhere from 8% - 12% complete with updating the operating software and then stops. I've tried many times now with no luck. Any advice?

EDIT: I figured out the issue. There was some kind of conflict with using FireFox. I just opened the site in IE and it worked fine. :dunno:

Just a USB GPS device, and software for a laptop.
